التعلم القائم على الويب ليس فقط نظام لتوصيل المحتوي والمقررات الالکترونية، أو نظام يستخدم أدوات ومستحدثات تکنولوجية ولکنه علم نظري تطبيقي، ونظام تکنولوجي تعليمي کامل، وعملية مقصودة ومحکومة، تقوم على أساس فکري فلسفي ونظريات تربوية جديدة  يمر فيها المتعلم بخبرات مخططة ومدروسة، من خلال تفاعله مع مصادر تعلم الکترونية متعددة ومتنوعة بطريقة نظامية ومتتابعة ووفق إجراءات وأحداث تعليمية منظمه، فى بيئات تعلم الکترونية مرنة، قائمة على الکمبيوتر والشبکات تدعم عمليات التعلم وتسهل حدوثه فى أي وقت ومکان
لذا يسعى البحث الحالى الى تحديد المجالات الرئيسه التي تتکون منها قائمة معايير الوسائط الفائقة التکيفية عبر الويب  ومحاولة تقديم قائمة شاملة لمعايير الوسائط الفائقة التکيفية عبر الويب، بحيث يمکن الإسترشاد بها من خلال المؤسسات التعليمية في تطوير أنظمة التعلم عبر الويب التقليدية.

The current research seeks to identify the main areas of the list of hyper-adaptive media standards across the web and try to provide a comprehensive list of the standards of hyper-adaptive media across the web, which can be guided by educational institutions in the development of traditional web learning systems.
