التحديات التي تواجه البحث العلمي في التعليم العالي

إن البحث العلمي قد لعب دورًا کبيرًا في تطور البشرية وتقدمها منذ أقدم العصور حيث قام بتقديم العديد من الاکتشافات التي کان لها عظيم الأثر في حياة المجتمعات.
فالبحث العلمي هو أسلوب العمل في جل المؤسسات حيث تقترن جميع الممارسات والأنشطة العلمية فيها بأساليب التنظيم الذي يعد السمة الرئيسة لهذا الاتجاه.
 ولکي يحقق هذا الاتجاه أهدافه في سبيل خدمة التطلعات الاجتماعية سعت الجامعات إلى تحديد غاياتها ووظائفها التي من أجلها تأسست وقامت ومن بين ذلک تنشيط عملية البحث العلمي، وإعداد الکوادر الفنية، بالإضافة إلى عمليات التدريب العامة التي تتم عادة من خلال برامج خدمة المجتمع.
    والبحث العلمي هو عبارة عن بحث يقوم به الباحث بهدف تقديم معلومات جديدة ومبتکرة للبحث العلمي، کما يهدف من خلاله إثبات صحة أبحاث سابقة أو نفي صحتها، ويشترط أن يقدم الباحث الأدلة التي تؤيد صحة کلامه.  
إنّ البحث العلميّ هو أحد أهمّ أسباب تقدّم المجتمعات وتطوّرها في جميع مناحي الحياة الاقتصاديّة، والاجتماعيّة، والثقافيّة، فهو المصدر الرئيس للتنمية، ورفاهيّة الشعوب، وله أهمّيّة کبيرة في اقتصاد الدول ويشکّل رکنًا أساسيًّا من أرکان المعرفة البشريّة، وخدمة المجتمع، وخير علاج للمشکلات التي تواجه المجتمع.2
من هنا نستطيع أن نتلمّس مدى أهمّيّته وضرورة السعي إلى تأمين کلّ المستلزمات في سبيل تطويره، ودفع عجلته في المسار الصحيح، وبالإضافة إلى إنّه يشمل أيضًا إعداد الباحثين المتخصّصين القادرين على مواصلة التوصّل إلى المعارف العلميّة بأسلوب علميّ، وهو ما يتمثّل في مواصلة خلق أجيال من الأساتذة الجامعيّين، وبالتالي من الباحثين.
Abstract:
Scientific research has played a major role in the development and progress of mankind since ancient times, as it made many discoveries that had a great impact on the lives of societies.
Scientific research is the method of work in most institutions, where all scientific practices and activities are associated with the methods of organization, which is the main feature of this trend.
 In order for this trend to achieve its goals in order to serve social aspirations, universities sought to define their goals and functions for which they were established and established, including the revitalization of the scientific research process, the preparation of technical personnel, in addition to the general training processes that usually take place through community service programs.
    Scientific research is a research carried out by the researcher with the aim of providing new and innovative information for scientific research, as well as through which it aims to prove or deny the validity of previous research, and the researcher is required to provide evidence that supports the validity of his words.
Scientific research is one of the most important reasons for the progress and development of societies in all aspects of economic, social and cultural life, as it is the main source of development and the well-being of peoples, and it has great importance in the economy of countries and constitutes a fundamental pillar of human knowledge, community service, and the best treatment for the problems facing Society 2
From here we can glimpse its importance and the necessity to strive to secure all requirements in order to develop it, and to push its wheels on the right path, in addition to that it also includes preparing specialized researchers who are able to continue accessing scientific knowledge in a scientific manner, which is represented in continuing to create generations of professors University students, and therefore researchers.
